Chris Snyder had 4 hits and 4 RBI at Trailer Park as the Santa Fe Trailer
Bitches, running on all cylinders, ripped the struggling North Dallas Fire
Ants by a large 14 to 4 margin.
The Santa Fe fans enjoyed the offense provided by Snyder. He doubled scoring
two baserunners in the 2nd inning, slapped a single in the 3rd inning,
smashed a two-run homer (his 4th of the season) in the 4th inning and hit a
one-base hit in the 8th inning. Santa Fe kept the scorekeepers busy in the
2nd inning when they had 4 runs on 5 hits and the 4th inning with 4 runs on 4
hits. For the game Santa Fe out-hit North Dallas 25 to 9.
The win was credited to Vicente Padilla(13-17) who went 5 and 2/3 innings
allowing 4 runs. Padilla was helped out by Ryan Franklin who recorded his 3rd
save. Mark Buehrle(11-13) suffered the loss. He gave up 7 runs in 3 and 1/3
innings of work.
'The ball was jumping off my bat' Snyder said. 'I didn't do anything
differently, it's the same way I always approach the game.'
